Roy Cherry, at Sentara Norfolk General is so deserving of this award. I have been a patient there many times, and he and I have had many opportunites to chat. He is so friendly and encouraging and a pleasure to talk to even when you are sick and tired and ready to just feel better. Roy is certainly an asset to SNGH! Go Roy!

Congrats to ACE Award Winner Ken O’Neal!
Having had a CT Scan at Sentara Potomac Hospital in April, I certainly can testify to Ken’s professionalism, compassion and competence. It is truly heartwarming to know that the special attention I felt that I was afforded as a long time employee and colleague, is in fact standard operating procedure for Ken!

I have worked side by side with Chaplain Roger Gauthier and saw how much loved he was in the hospice department at Sentara Home Care, and see he is still putting his patients first. So proud he is honored for this.
