Sentara is adding a new website to our digital family. As of today, when you type in www.sentara.com, you will visit a brand new website that better portrays Sentara as a multi-regional health system.
From this new website, you can access and learn about all of the regions Sentara serves, from Hampton Roads to Harrisonburg, Northern Virginia to Charlottesville. The site also features a newsroom with the latest news and events from throughout the organization, as well as information about our history, culture and mission, commitment to the community, awards and recognitions, and career opportunities.
Save your region
The new Sentara.com serves as an access point to our other regional-focused websites, where you can find the more specific information about our locations and services. Because we know many of our patients, employees and physicians need quick access to region-specific information, we’ve made it easy for you to “select and save” your preferred region.
When you visit Sentara.com for the first time, you will be presented with a page that prompts you to select and save your preferred website. If you select and save Hampton Roads as your preferred website, on any subsequent visit to Sentara.com, you will automatically be redirected to the Hampton Roads website. You can also undo your saved region at any time.
We know many employees and physicians access Wavenet or MDOffice by coming to Sentara.com and clicking on the “Login for Employees” or “Login for Physicians” links in the top right corner. You may notice that the new Sentara.com website design does not include those links. If you are a Sentara employee or physician and need to access Wavenet and MDOffice, you will need to proceed to your preferred regional website (Hampton Roads or Northern Virginia) and then you will have access to those links.
Alternatively, Sentara employees may access Wavenet directly by typing in https://wavenet.sentara.com or by saving that URL in your favorites.
We’re proud of the new website and eager to see what our fellow members of the team think. So, what do you think of the new site? Anything you would have done differently? Give us your feedback in the comments below.
