Jessica Carlson is a digital media advisor for Sentara Healthcare. Working with the corporate marketing team at Sentara since 2008, Jessica now leads the strategic vision for web content and social media marketing system-wide. With a background in magazine journalism, Jessica came to Sentara as a freelance writer and has been published in several publications and websites. She earned her bachelor’s degree from Connecticut College and is currently working towards a graduate certificate in Communication and Technology from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
